Discover a different way to travel with our Sikkim Group Tour Package – Strangers Meet. Come alone. Bring a friend. Either way, by Day 8 you probably won’t feel like strangers anymore.
This is not a conventional sightseeing package. It is an 8-day Sikkim road trip built around a small convoy, mountain adventures and shared experiences—from Teesta rafting and Zuluk’s hairpin roads to Nathula, Gurudongmar, Yumthang, Zero Point and Pelling.
You travel in 3 Toyota Innova Crystas with only 4–5 travellers per vehicle, supported by one dedicated local guide throughout the circuit. The idea is simple: enough people to make the trip social, but never enough to feel like a bus tour. Ultimate Sikkim Circle – Strang…
Siliguri → Teesta Rafting → Rongli → Zuluk Meet your new travel crew in the morning and begin with something that breaks the ice quickly—white-water rafting on the Teesta. After lunch, the convoy heads through Rongli and climbs towards Zuluk. By evening, you are already deep in the mountains and driving the first stretch of the famous Silk Route. Experience: Teesta rafting · Rongli · Zuluk Loops Stay: Premium mountain lodge / eco-cabin, Zuluk
Zuluk → Gnathang Valley → Kupup → Baba Mandir → Nathula Pass → Tsomgo Lake → Gangtok* Wake early for the mountain views before heading higher through Gnathang Valley and Kupup / Elephant Lake. Then comes one of the strongest road days of the tour: Baba Mandir, Nathula Pass* and Tsomgo Lake before finally descending into Gangtok. By evening, swap mountain roads for cafés and group time at MG Marg. See: Gnathang Valley · Kupup · Baba Mandir · Nathula Pass* · Tsomgo Lake · MG Marg Stay: Premium hotel near MG Marg, Gangtok
Gangtok → Optional Paragliding → Naga Falls → Amitabh Bachchan Falls → Lachen The morning is yours. If you want one more adrenaline hit, opt for tandem paragliding from the Gangtok sector at extra cost. Then regroup and head into North Sikkim. Stop at Naga Falls and Amitabh Bachchan Falls, have lunch around Mangan and continue towards Lachen. By evening, trade road noise for hot soup and a mountain-lodge social around the fireplace. See: Optional paragliding · Naga Falls · Amitabh Bachchan Falls · North Sikkim Highway Stay: Mountain lodge, Lachen
Lachen → Thangu → Chopta Valley → Gurudongmar Lake → Lachung* Today starts before sunrise. Climb through Thangu and the cold-desert landscape of Chopta Valley before reaching Gurudongmar Lake* at roughly 17,800 ft. After returning for a warm meal, continue across North Sikkim towards Lachung. See: Thangu · Chopta Valley · Gurudongmar Lake* Stay: Premium mountain lodge, Lachung
Lachung → Shingba Sanctuary → Yumthang Valley → Zero Point → Gangtok* Drive through the Shingba Rhododendron Sanctuary into Yumthang Valley, then continue towards Zero Point* when road and weather conditions allow. This is where the civilian road effectively runs out and the high-Himalayan landscape takes over. After lunch in Lachung, return to Gangtok for an easy café or live-music evening with the group. See: Shingba Sanctuary · Yumthang Valley · Zero Point* Stay: Gangtok
Gangtok → Ravangla → Buddha Park → Pelling Skywalk → Rabdentse Leave Gangtok and cross South Sikkim towards Ravangla. Stop at Buddha Park, then continue to Pelling for the Glass Skywalk and Chenrezig Statue. If timing allows, finish with a forest walk towards the atmospheric Rabdentse Ruins. See: Buddha Park · Pelling Skywalk · Chenrezig Statue · Rabdentse Ruins Stay: View-facing hotel, Pelling
Pelling → Singshore Bridge → Rimbi Waterfall → Khecheopalri Lake Your last full day starts at Singshore Bridge, followed by the West Sikkim ridge landscape. Later, visit Rimbi Waterfall and peaceful Khecheopalri Lake. Then there is one final night together—campfire, shared photos, stories from the road and the strange realisation that the people you met seven days ago no longer feel like strangers. See: Singshore Bridge · Rimbi Waterfall · Khecheopalri Lake Experience: Final group campfire Stay: Pelling
Pelling → Rangeet Valley → Teesta Valley → Siliguri / NJP / Bagdogra Have breakfast, pack up and begin the final road journey through the Rangeet and Teesta river valleys. Drop-offs are planned at Bagdogra Airport, NJP or Siliguri. The convoy ends here. The group chat probably doesn’t.
